Salary: up to  £90000 depending on skills and experience + car/cash allowance + annual bonus

Our Role
Business Energy focuses on non-domestic customers, supplying around 500,000 electricity and gas metering points to clients ranging from micro businesses to large national corporates and offering a wide range of energy contract solutions, including fixed and flexible contracts
Business Energy is implementing new transaction systems and this platform will be available to support Business Energys digital presence and engagement with customers and third-party intermediaries (TPIs). In addition, Business Energy has existing digital services serving several business functions (marketing, contact pages, customer information services) and the service support these offerings needs also to be managed.
This opening presents a unique opportunity to build a capability (internally and with 3rd parties) as a ‘greenfield start up, to provide a sustainable digital service for the UKs leading business to business energy supply business. In addition, the Business Energy data services and reporting function will also report to you.
Your Skills and Experience
You'll need an understanding of SSEs business and corporate drivers and goals and will be experienced across a broad range of IT services and disciplines, coupled with expertise in professional standards. Experience of working in a business with digitally enabled Customer Service, Retail or other, is essential.
You'll have significant Commercial, Financial, Contract and Supplier Management experience, some of it gained in other organisations. This will be alongside excellent experience of working in IT at a management level in Digital and Data Services. You'll also demonstrate evidence of building digital teams and competencies and be skilled and experienced in stakeholder management, able to liaise effectively with senior stakeholders Your technical experience will include Digital Technologies (Azure based).
