Skills for a greener world. Kick start your career with an apprenticeship

312,300 new recruits are needed in the energy and utilities sector by 2030 to help the UK transition to a more sustainable future.

A live webinar ran on Wednesday 12 February with Careermap who were official partners with the Department for Education, showcasing live events throughout National Apprenticeship Week, ensuring that everyone—regardless of background, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or gender—has the opportunity to learn about apprenticeships and explore available opportunities.

We had apprentices from Anglian Water, National Grid and Wales & West Utilities, speak about their apprenticeship experiences. Followed by a Q&A session. Hosted by Steve Barratt, Director of Membership and Strategic Engagement at Energy & Utility Skills.

Watch Wales & West Utilities Apprentices talk about their experiences.
